About Me

I’ve loved reading mysteries since my elementary school book fair (Encyclopedia Brown, anyone?), and around that same time, I decided I wanted to be a writer. I ended up working in education, where I created content on everything from cybersecurity to media literacy, but my first love remained crime fiction. In 2022, I finally decided it was time to write the novel I’d been plotting in my head for years. My debut mystery, HIDDEN ROOMS, won an IPPY medal for best mystery, and the sequel, DOWN TO OUR BONES, will be released in 2027. When I’m not reading or writing, I love hiking, traveling, and anything thing else that takes me away from my laptop. I live in Ohio with my imperturbable husband and our highly perturbable pets. I’m represented by Elizabeth Pratt at Trellis Literary Management.
